This was a logistically challenging walking track project undertaken for Hydro Tasmania.
Hydro Tasmania required the existing very rough and steep walking track, used exclusively for the use of their surveyors to periodically check for movement of the dam wall, upgraded to modern safety standards Track & Trail installed numerous steep timber staircases and timber steps, and a landing platform for the flying fox which Hydro use to transport surveying equipment and tools across the 140 metre gorge. All materials were airlifted by helicopter onto the track.
