In January 2011 a severe flood event damaged or destroyed all seven foot bridge crossings across Stony Creek.
Stony Creek flows through Anakie Gorge, a popular three kilometre walk on the outskirts of Melbourne. In addition, an historic water pipeline constructed in the 1870’s required repairs to one of the stone weir structures also damaged during the flood. Track & Trail were engaged to replace seven foot bridges with large stepping stones and repair the damaged weir.
